The visual direction is focused on high impact colour contrast, clean typography and a new sense of simplicity when presenting technological innovation. The UI concept envisioned a series of new touch points such as voice controlled welcome screens, a mobile app, spatial controllers on tablets and a variety of QR code enabled content discovery moments.
The art direction concept for the project
is based around the up and down elevation across the Canary Islands and the idea
of 'crossing' from one island to the next.
The typography and images have been arranged using vertical movement to mimic the vast changes in height across the landscapes. The pages also make use of a strong horizontal center line, creating a top
and bottom section which the eye crosses between.
